IEIA YEAR LONG 2009 (12 month) Toy Drive

The Indigenous Early Intervention Alliance (IEIA) and the Indigenous Early Intervention Alliance-Urban Contexts (IEIA-UC) are sponsoring and coordinating a toy drive for American Indian Children living in rural and urban areas throughout Arizona.

Donated toys should be for children ages 0-16 and checked for lead content BEFORE donation, if wrapped. To make another type of contribution (cash, gift card, etc.) please contact Dr. Michael Niles (Wakshe) at (602) 496-0102 or Michael.Niles@asu.edu.

 

Dates of collection: January 2009 through December 20, 2009

DROP-OFF: If donating toys (wrapped or unwrapped) - the drop-off (or mailing address) location is at the Arizona State University School of Social Work located at 411 N. Central Avenue, #800 Phoenix, AZ 85004.

June 2009:

The IEIA has collected over 2,200 toys, clothing items, shoes, etc. for Indigenous children. 

The photos on this page shows only some of the already collected toys.

Please continue to donate throughout the year as there are many children in need of graduation presents, birthday gifts, and for other celebrations.
