Dates of collection: January 2008 through December 20, 2008
DROP-OFF: If donating toys (wrapped or unwrapped) - the drop-off (or mailing address) location is at the Arizona State University School of Social Work located at 411 N. Central Avenue, #800 Phoenix, AZ 85004.
Thank you for supporting Indigenous children and the IEIA – “Where Our Sacred Past Meets Our Future.”
2007 Toy Drive
The 2007 IEIA toy drive was an enormous success (special thanks to Dean Friedman and staff and also IEIA staff Andrea Cimino and Sylvia Martinez). Photos of this is on IEIA-UC website (see http://www.urban-indigenous-early-intervention.com/Indigenous_Early_Intervention_Alliance-Urban_Contexts/IEIA_Toy_Drive_2007.html).
Over 400 toys were collected and distributed – for those that donated - YOU provided over 400 “peace and smiles” gifts for at-risk Indigenous children and their families that were not available otherwise – THANK YOU! FYI – the IEIA will be collecting gifts throughout the year for holidays and birthdays, etc. with a goal of 800 toys by December 2008.
Please continue to donate throughout the year as there are many children in need of graduation presents, birthday gifts, and for other celebrations.
